For years, my husband and I have wanted to put radiant hot water heating under our ceramic tile kitchen floor, and breakfast area of our 1930s home. This was the year it happened. Alvin Hollis was the most logical choice for project. They have been a trusted name in the business for years /very reputable, knowledgeable, competent, and personable. The installers had a tall task, cutting hundreds of the nails that came through the original floor in order to secure the tubing to it. Some areas were in crawlspaces. They arrived on time, kept me apprised as the project progressed and remained cordial and positive through a very labor-intensive process . I can’t say enough about the installers . They were very professional, validating my confident in choosing Alvin Hollis.. We now have radiant heat throughout the kitchen. I couldn’t be more happy. Finally warm feet!

Alvin Hollis has taken care of my home since my husband and I moved here fifty-five years ago. Our oil is delivered automatically and I never have to worry about running out. They also service all my heating and AC equipment every eighteen months. We finally had our old oil tank replaced recently. It was here when we moved in. Our service tech had been warning us for a year or two so it was no surprise. The techs did a wonderful job putting in the new one and cleaned up perfectly.

I woke up this AM with no heat or hot water. Within 1 1/2 hours Alvin Hollis checked my heater, diagnosed the problem and had my home heating and hot water working. I have had Alvin Hollis as my oil provider for 35+ years and would not ever change this supplier. They are a real class act.

This morning I woke up & with it being chilly I turned on the heat. I heard The furnace click on, but within a minute, it clicked off.. I went to the thermostat and turned it up again. I heard the heat come on and within a minute it went off.. Alvin Hollis and spoke with a Billy in the service department who said he would get someone out there today. I had technician Joe. Who came and asked me questions then went down to the furnace. He checked different things & figured out what the problem was. The part that was needed he didn’t have, and he said that he would have to go back to the office and hopefully there would be one there if not, they would have to order the part. Luckily, he had the part and installed it and now I am the proud owner of a working furnace all thanks to Joe.

My family has used Alvin Hollis since I was a child (many, many years ago). They have rescued me often and I am always impressed with their responsiveness and competence. They installed a heat pump years ago that heats AND cools the whole house. I recommend them highly without reservation.

Tech Ryan Olsak was awesome! Had my scheduled tune up and a repair scheduled just before our coldest weather of the century hit. After comlete tune up and replacing failed circulator and Air vent and getting system working well again Ryan noticed Back Flow Preventer slightly leaking. He stayed at our house late since we were his last call of the day to replace the part all the while talking about what a great company Alvin Hollis is and I have to agree. I would never use anyone else for my heating and oil needs.

Just had Gary from Alvin Hollis stop by to help my seriously struggling heating system. Couple of hours work and a few parts and it's running like new. Thanks for the excellent job on a same day call. A job well done and very much appreciated!

Living by the water in Hull and now working full time from my home, I decided to invest in both an automatic Generac generator and full house air conditioning for my home.  The Alvin Hollis team could not have been more helpful and professional- moving existing direct venting, some baseboard duct work,  scoping and installing exterior air conditioning unit, as well as aligning schedules across other contractors.  All of my communications and scheduling was handled by John Gargiulo whose ongoing correspondence was timely,  estimates  clear and accurate, and work seamlessly aligned with two other contractors and their shifting calendars. Without him,  I may not have jumped into this project.

I am very happy with my decision to hire Alvin Hollis to install my new boiler. I chose them because their reputation is great. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.
